The construction of a 114-meter pylon continues on the right-bank construction site. It will hold the 380-meter cable-stayed part of the bridge by means of 70 steel cables. To date, the monolithic body of the right pylon post has been cast to a height of 44 meters, and the left post – to a height of 32 meters.
This is one of the first regional transport concessions to receive co-financing from the federal budget. At the same time, more than 20% of capital expenditures are covered by extra-budgetary funds. The VIS Group acts as the project investor and concessionaire; Gazprombank is the financial partner.
The new six-lane road and the bridge itself are designed to relieve the existing crossings and create alternative routes for vehicles moving between the banks of the Ob. In addition to the bridge itself, the project includes the construction of transport interchanges on both banks. The total length of the new transport infrastructure will exceed 5.1 km.
