OOO Ecology-Novosibirsk (part of VIS group) has concluded a cooperation agreement with Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management, a federal higher educational institution.
In July 2018, the company has received the status of a Regional operator of solid municipal waste treatment in Novosibirsk Oblast. Some of the directions of the regional operator's development are building awareness, development of environmental culture, promoting separate waste collection.
In the framework of the signed agreement, a series of events is planned for the purpose to focus the attention of Novosibirsk residents on environmental issues. Representatives of Ecology-Novosibirsk along with the scientific community are initiating the discussion of problematic issues in the sphere of solid municipal waste treatment.
The 4th Inter-university Environmental Cup is slated to be conducted in November 2018, and will include the 'Sphere of industrial and consumer waste treatment ' section. Panel discussions, project offices, competitions and masterclasses will be organized for the participants of the ECOcup.
