On December 10, the chief conductor of the symphony orchestras of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yakutsk, officer of the Order of the Star of Italy and Honored Artist of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Fabio Mastrangelo visited the construction site of the cultural cluster in Yakutsk. This is the maestro's second visit to the site; he is following with interest the construction of the building that will house the State Philharmonic and the Arctic Center of Epics and Arts.
In the year since the maestro's last visit, the builders have completed a large amount of work: the monolithic building frame has been completed, the glass facade has been installed, three multi-ton dome structures have been installed on the roof, and heat has been supplied to the building. The current overall construction readiness of the facility exceeds 73%.
Accompanied by the General Director of the G.M. Krivoshapko State Philharmonic of Yakutia Tuyaara Pestryakova and the director of VIS Group project Vladimir Nakhankov, Fabio Mastrangelo inspected the philharmonic and rehearsal halls, visited the stage and balconies, and inspected the spacious public areas. The conductor was very pleased with what he saw and highly appreciated the work done.
The integrated complex of the Philharmonic and the Arctic Center is a unique cultural cluster created in the capital of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) on the principles of public-private partnership. The region is one of the leaders in the creative industry and is actively developing a variety of areas.
