In the village of Osipovo in the Solnechnogorsk City District of the Moscow Region, the modernization of the complex of treatment facilities continues. The general contractor of the project is VIS Manufacturing Company (VIS Group’s construction division).
Large-scale renovation of the communal infrastructure is carried out under the national Ecology project and the federal project Improvement of the Volga. The current treatment plant was built in 1971. Its equipment is outdated, and the biological treatment parameters do not comply with the current standards.
“Reconstruction work began in 2022. In fact, new water purification facilities are being built in an area of almost 190,000 m2. The infrastructure being created will allow to carry out a full cycle of mechanical and biological water treatment and its subsequent disinfection,” said Vladimir Kireev, Deputy CEO of PF VIS.
To date, 40% of the work has been completed. As a result of the project implementation, the residual pollution concentration will be reduced to comply with water quality requirements for fishery facilities located on the Sestra river.
The commissioning of the treatment facilities is scheduled for November 2024. The capacity of the modernized complex will be 27,000 m3 per day, with the maximum productivity of 1744 m3 per hour.
