As part of the Russian Investment Forum, the annual award ceremony was conducted for the winners of the ROSINFRA National Infrastructure Award. For the second year in a row, VIS Group became the winner in the Best Private Investor nomination. The award was presented to the Chairman of the VIS Group’s Board of Directors Igor Snegurov by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Rasstrigin.
Among the holding’s projects taken into account for the award period were the creation of the fourth bridge across the Ob in Novosibirsk and the Vinogradovo-Boltino-Tarasovka motor road in the Moscow Oblast. The total amount of private investments in projects will exceed 40 billion rubles.
“I would like to thank the award jury for their high appreciation of VIS Group’s work. The holding’s investment portfolio includes PPP projects that involve 20% to 80% of private funds. The presence of an investor allows to create new facilities, whether highways or schools, today. In this sense, our work is aimed at implementing the task set by the President of the Russian Federation – to upgrade and modernize the infrastructure in the coming years. We have serious plans to expand our portfolio in the fields of medicine, transport and the municipal sector. VIS Group possesses comprehensive financial, technical and managerial resources for this purpose,” shared Igor Snegurov.
The award jury included representatives of the Federation Council, the State Duma, the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation, federal ministries and departments, as well as heads of leading public organizations and business associations. The award was established by the National PPP Center in 2013 with the aim of identifying the key trends in infrastructure development in Russia.
