The first phase of the public-private partnership project implemented by VIS group in Yakutia is nearing completion. The readiness status of nine educational and cultural facilities constructed by OOO Gazenergomontazh (part of VIS Group) currently exceeds 90%. The holding is constructing 12 institutions in the framework of the largest social infrastructure construction project in the region.
Seven of the PPP project’s first-phase facilities are slated to be launched before the end of 2018, including 3 schools with a total of 1400 seats, 2 kindergartens with a total of 550 spots, an art school and a library. Two more second-phase institutions, namely, kindergartens with a total of 440 spots, are also intended to be launched 12 months ahead of schedule.
All the facilities currently slated for launch are connected to engineering networks, they are supplied with heat, the finishing works and the installation of technological equipment are nearing completion. All buildings are equipped with modern control, access management, information and evacuation management systems, security alarm systems.
“In order to ensure the high speed of project implementation, all 12 sites were simultaneously engaged in construction. VIS Group employed 800 construction workers and specialists in Yakutia. Understanding the great social significance of our project for the republic, we've exerted efforts to speed up the launch of the facilities. Meanwhile, special attention is heeded to quality control,” reported the CEO of OOO Gazenergomontazh Denis Nekrasov.
The readiness status of second-phase facilities is currently estimated at 60%. In 2019, the International Arctic School, Yuri Gagarin Cultural Center and a 315-seat kindergarten will be launched into operation.
According to the results of the PPP project implementation, 1620 new spots will be created in schools and 1310 – in kindergartens. In addition, a modern material and technical foundation will be established that will allow to use innovative educational programs.
