“We traditionally pay great attention to the landscaping of our city. This concerns the premises near new facilities, as well as our squares, parks, courtyards and streets. This year alone, 1,670 new trees and shrubs were planted in the city to replace those that died. A record number of flowers - more than 163, 000 - decorated the streets of Salekhard. Today, we are creating green areas near the Doverie center,” said Aleksey Titovsky, the head of Salekhard.
The total area of the center’s adjacent premises is almost 5,000 m2. It is divided into functional zones with sports, playgrounds and a winter walking veranda.
“Tree planting is the final touch to the visual transformation of the premises around Doverie. The center itself has already become one of the city’s decorations thanks to its unusual façade,” shared Aleksandr Shishkin. “This is one of more than 30 social facilities that VIS Group has built in Yamal over more than 15 years of its work in the region.”
The construction of the building was completed at the end of August, and permission to put the facility into operation has already been received. Currently, the employees of the Doverie center are accepting the building. Before the children can enter it, the mandatory facility licensing procedures must be completed as provided by law.
The project was implemented by VIS Group under a government contract with the Government of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District and the regional program “Social Support for Citizens and Labor Protection for 2014-2024.” Doverie social rehabilitation center will provide comprehensive assistance to children and adolescents, as well as families with children who find themselves in a difficult life situation. All the necessary conditions for rehabilitation, including medical, have been created there for this purpose. Here one can undertake creative and sports endeavors in equipped assembly and choreography halls, art studio, gym, and its own swimming pool with a suspended rail system for children with limited mobility.
