The new polyclinic building in Yakutsk being built by VIS Group will be almost 2 times larger than the existing one

VIS Group continues to build the region's largest medical center providing primary medical care the capital of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The project is being implemented on the principles of public-private partnership. The new polyclinic will operate in the SMART format and will accommodate the existing city polyclinic #2. The area of the old building, which serves over 42,000 residents of the Gagarin district and suburbs, is less than 5000 m2. By 2024, the polyclinic will receive a new building with an area of almost 9,000 m2, fully outfitted with modern equipment.

“Today, drilling work is being carried out at the construction site, 564 out of 623 reinforced concrete piles have been driven. Simultaneously, work is underway to install a soil thermal stabilization system, and 450 out of 533 special seasonal cooling units have been installed. Preparations have begun for the installation of a monolithic building frame, the work is slated to begin in the end of May,” said Viktor Alekseenko, CEO of OOO VIS Development (private partner of the project, part of VIS Group).

The six-story building is designed to include adult and children's departments, as well as an antenatal clinic and an ambulance station. The modern medical center will be able to receive up to 600 patients per shift. Thanks to the PPP format, the investor, VIS Group, will not only construct a polyclinic building, but also equip it with modern medical equipment. Expert-class diagnostic MRI and ultrasound complexes, X-ray, endoscopic, mammography and fluorography equipment will be installed here, creating a full-fledged diagnostic complex.

“The clinic will operate in the SMART format, becoming one of the largest medical centers in Yakutia. Gagarin district very much needs this project, because the introduction of the new polyclinic will offer opportunities to create higher-quality medical services and comfortable conditions for the team of doctors and patients, ”said Sargylana Vasilyeva, head physician of city polyclinic No. 2.

This is the 13th social infrastructure facility that VIS Group will build in Yakutia. Prior to this project, the holding implemented the first and largest PPP project in the region to create 12 facilities, including kindergartens, schools, a library and a contemporary art center. Now, in addition to the clinic, a unique cultural cluster is being built in the republic.

After the polyclinic is commissioned, under the terms of an agreement with the Government of Yakutia, VIS Group will ensure its technical operation for 7 years. Medical services will be provided by a public health institution within the framework of the compulsory medical insurance program (CHI).
