The treatment facility complex in Kashira is 45% complete

The construction of new treatment facilities in the urban district of Kashira is being carried out within the framework of the state program of the Moscow Region "Development of engineering infrastructure, energy efficiency and the waste management industry". This is one of VIS Group’s three projects in the Moscow Region for the modernization and creation of modern water treatment systems.

To date, more than 75% of monolithic work has been completed on the construction of foundations and walls of seven buildings of the complex. The installation of pile foundations and grillages of the mechanical wastewater treatment building, integrated biological reactor, contact tank, building for mechanical sludge and air blower dewatering, indoor terminal for mechanically dewatered sludge and administrative and laboratory building has been completed. Simultaneously, the installation of metal structures and columns of the building for additional wastewater treatment and disinfection, as well as excavation work at the main and local sewage pumping stations is underway. The current construction readiness of the complex is 45%.

The total area of the treatment facilities is 73,000 m2, the capacity is 20,000 m3 per day. For cleaning, it is planned to use certified equipment and modern technologies that will prevent harmful substances from entering the water. The introduction of modern technologies in the water disposal process will reduce the operating costs and power consumption of the complex. The new treatment facilities will serve about 46,000 residents of Kashira, the Ozherelye microdistrict, and Novosyolki and Zendikovo villages.
