Travel on the Mytishchi Chord Expressway will require toll payment starting February 1, 2025

The test-mode operation of the new highway, which was in effect since the opening of traffic on December 17, 2024, has been completed. Starting at midnight on February 1, 2025, a toll mode will be introduced on the Mytishchi chord.

The toll collection system is organized according to the "free flow" principle, which eliminates the need to stop to pay for travel. Toll will be deducted using the car plate number on the official website of the Transtoll highway operator. Transponders can also be used to pay the toll.

The toll only needs to be paid for the route traveled. The entire highway is divided into 5 sections. Within 5 days after the trip, you must go to the vis-transtoll.ru website, click the "Quick payment" button, fill out a simple form, including the car’s state registration number. The system will automatically calculate the sections of the road traveled and display the amount due. If the five-day payment period is exceeded, an administrative fine will be charged.

The tariffs are posted on the operator's website. In the coming days, personal account registration will be launched, allowing to top up the balance in advance for automatic toll collection when driving on the highway. This is especially convenient for those motorists who use the road regularly.

When paying for travel using transponders, you can use devices linked to the motorist's personal account opened with one of the Russian issuers of transponders.

This opportunity appeared due to the integration of the Mytishchi Chord in an integrated and interoperable toll collection system. It operates on most toll roads in Russia.

The 16-kilometer Mytishchi Chord Expressway (Vinogradovo – Boltino – Tarasovka highway) has been built in the concession format under an agreement between VIS Group and the Government of the Moscow Region. The concessionaire will be responsible for its operation until 2038. The highway includes 6 interchanges, 11 bridges and overpasses, and 27 exits. It significantly reduces travel time for residents of the Moscow Region, acting as a backup to the Moscow Ring Road and connecting Afanasovskoye, Ostashkovskoye, Pirogovskoye and Yaroslavskoye highways. Now motorists have an alternative route that eliminates driving on busy roads. During the free trial mode, more than 1,200,000 trips were registered.
