VIS Group and the Regional Development Fund of the Republic of Buryatia signed a cooperation agreement

On November 16, an agreement on cooperation under public-private partnership (PPP) principles was signed in Moscow between the VIS Group and the Regional Development Fund of the Republic of Buryatia. The document was signed by the CEO of the Fund Geser Dorzhiev and a member of the Board of Directors of the holding Sergey Romashov.

The main goal of cooperation is to promote private investments in Buryatia’s economy and implementation of infrastructure projects using PPP mechanisms. Joint work involves the preparation of relevant proposals and the consolidation of intellectual, material and technical resources. The parties agreed to exchange information to explore the possibilities of investing in infrastructure facilities.

“Implementation of projects in the Russian Far East is one of VIS Group’s key activities. We have accumulated sufficient experience and a material and technical base in this region,” said Sergey Romashov. “I hope that the holding’s competence and investment resources will allow to implement projects that are important for Buryatia and give a new impetus to its development.”

VIS Group develops cooperation with Russia’s regions based on economic and investment criteria. This work resulted in the signed strategic agreements with over a dozen subjects of the Russian Federation. Today, large investment projects are being implemented from Kaliningrad to the Far East, including new roads, bridges, educational and medical institutions, as well as environmental initiatives. The holding’s contract portfolio has been formed until 2047.
