VIS Group becomes the official partner of the Muus Ustar youth festival in Yakutia

The festival is organized jointly by the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). The event will be held for the third time, and this year it is a part of the Year of the Teacher and Mentor in Russia and the Year of Labor in Yakutia. VIS Group, which has been developing educational and cultural infrastructure in Yakutia for many years, is now the festival’s official partner.

This is one of the largest events in the Far Eastern Federal District and the first event of this scale for young people in the republic that aims to develop talents, creativity and support youth initiatives. The festival includes competitions in 12 thematic tracks, including sports, creative and entrepreneurial initiatives, as well as the development of IT, journalism and cinema.

“For us, supporting the Muus Ustar youth festival has become a logical continuation of what we have been doing in the republic for many years. VIS Group is implementing projects here that are aimed at developing education and culture. Thanks to the format of public-private partnership cooperation in Yakutia, 3,000 new seats have been created in modern educational institutions, and new cultural facilities have been commissioned. All this infrastructure has created conditions for improving the quality of education and developing the talents of young people. These are projects that foster the future of the republic,” said Sergey Romashov, a member of the Board of Directors of VIS Group.

VIS Group has built and put into operation five kindergartens, four schools, an art school, a center for culture and contemporary art, and a SMART library in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) since 2019. The simultaneous construction of 12 social facilities has become unprecedented for the region. Another unique facility is currently being built - a cultural cluster that integrates the State Philharmonic and the Arctic Center for Epic Literature and the Arts. It has no analogues in terms of its capabilities, technical equipment and scale. VIS Group continues to implement the largest infrastructure project to build the Lensky Bridge, which will completely transform the transportation system in the Russian Far East and open up new opportunities for the social and economic development of Yakutia.

The headliners of Muus Ustar will include Russian celebrities, international and domestic experts, who will interact with the participants, allowing them to gain useful experience and new knowledge, and improve their skills. The festival’s flexible online and offline format will open a platform for all of the country’s regions and an international audience, with special attention heeded to patriotic education.

The qualifying stage started in February, with approximately 6,000 people applying for participation in various areas of the festival. The award ceremony is scheduled for March 25 at the Triumph sports training center in Yakutsk.
