It will be assembled at the technological site on the left bank; all components are expected to arrive in the coming days. Equipment for the second plant, which will operate on the right bank, is expected to arrive by mid-September. Assembly of the plants will be completed by the end of next month. Also, part of the Bauer drilling rig equipment for installing bored piles has already arrived in Yakutsk.
As of today, over 30% of the work on backfilling the technological site on the left bank has been completed; about 80,000 m3 of soil have been backfilled. More than 20% of the volume of similar work has been completed on the site on the right bank. In total, about 80,000 m3 of soil are to be backfilled here. The cable-stayed bridge structure will be supported by 3 pylons with a height of 194.5 to 284.5 meters. The bridge will span 4.6 km, and the total length of the road with two approaches is 14.5 km. The transport artery will have two lanes and allow an estimated throughput of 5,300 cars per day.
The project is being implemented under a concession agreement between the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and VIS Group, which acts as an investor and is responsible for the design, construction and operation of the bridge crossing.
