A special machine has been relocated to Yakutsk to manufacture reinforcement cages for piles. The first trial cage for the Lena Bridge project was already successfully manufactured on it. Preparations for the installation supervision of concrete plants have also begun. The summer versions of the plant structures have been delivered to the production base in full, and the winter package is slated for delivery. A crawler crane with a 76-meter boom and a lifting capacity of 135 tons has been assembled, as well as a hydraulic vibratory pile driver. Complete transformer substations have been delivered to provide the construction site with electricity.
Backfilling of process sites, where the construction headquarters, material warehouses and special equipment bases will be located, continues. To date, a total of over 120,000 out of 340,000 m3 of sand have been filled on both banks. 40 units of special equipment are involved in the work.
The Lena Bridge is one of the largest transport concessions in Russia. The project is being implemented on the principles of public-private partnership with co-financing from the federal, republican budgets and private investment. VIS Group is the investor and concessionaire, and the concession grantor is the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The infrastructure created by VIS Group is designed to ensure the main construction phase of the project to create the first bridge crossing in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). It will connect the regional capital with the mainland.
