The 3rd Investment Forum – one of the major regional events devoted to investment issues - was opened today in St. Petersburg. Representatives of federal and regional authorities, leading economists and entrepreneurs, as well as the top managers of Russian and foreign companies are among the forum participants. VIS Group was represented by the First Deputy of the First Concession Corporation Natalia Reznichenko.
The business program of the 2018 forum centers around the core theme, namely, “Investment challenges for megapolises – St. Petersburg’s potential,” and comprises industry-specific sessions on the key sectors of economy. Acting Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov gave a speech at the plenary session, where the annual investment address to the business community was given.
Forum speakers include representatives of business, authorities, community leaders, for a total of 140 leading experts. Natalia Reznichenko took part in the session “City infrastructure and public-private partnership.” Is participants discussed the main principles of the formation of a list of priority project, implementation of new mechanisms of their financing and the required infrastructural project support measures.
The Investment Forum has been held in St. Petersburg since 2016, and over the course of its existence it has welcomed over 1500 leading regional and federal experts on the issues of investments, economy and finance. The event is taking place at the historic park “Russia. My history,” and will continue its work until November 13.
