The opening ceremony was attended by Olga Balabkina, Deputy Chairman Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Vladimir Egorov, the Republic’s Minister of Education, and Sardana Avksentyeva, the head of the Yakutsk city district. A general tour of the new building was conducted by Denis Nekrasov, CEO of OOO Gazenergomontazh (part of VIS Group) and the head of the kindergarten, Nadezhda Klimovskaya.
The two-floor kindergarten can accommodate up to 315 children. The building was constructed based on an individual design project and is intended for 18 classes, including nursery, speech therapy and preschool. The total area of the building is over 4,500 sq m. including the pool room, game rooms, music and sports halls, medical unit. The kindergarten is fully customized for people with limited mobility: accessible elevators and entrance ramps have been installed. Sports and playgrounds are located on the adjacent plot.
After exploring the kindergarten, the traditional Algys national blessing ceremony was held in the new building.
Teachers and future pupils of the kindergarten welcomed the guests who prepared holiday greetings to honor the first birthday of the new institution.
Olga Balabkina, Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the Republic, stressed that the country’s educational policy is expanding its borders in terms of the role of teachers and comfortable conditions for children. “The very name of the kindergarten carries an educational function, good and kindness, good luck and a happy childhood,” she said, addressing the ceremony participants.
The head of Yakutsk, Sardana Avksentyeva, also thanked VIS Group and Gazenergomontazh for their efforts in creating a large and comfortable children's institution in the city’s new residential area: “Our children’s education is a priority for us. From a very young age, they should have all the conditions for well-rounded development in order to enter this world well-prepared.”
Denis Nekrasov presented the head of the kindergarten with the symbolic key to the building and congratulated all those who gathered for another significant event in the life of the city, “Today we are commissioning the fourth facility in Yakutsk. Another four new institutions are ready to be launched by the end of the year. It is wonderful that we are moving ahead of time with such a large-scale PPP project. This was made possible by the cooperation and professionalism of both the republican and the city teams. The joy and smiles of the children of Yakutia are the result of this trilateral PPP project and our well-coordinated work!”
Previously, the Aiyy Kyhata national school was already commissioned in the 203rd microdistrict, and in 2019 another pre-school institution is slated to be built by VIS Group. All in all, as the result of the PPP project implementation, about 3,000 new kindergarten spots will be created in Yakutsk and its suburbs.
VIS Groups opens another kindergarten in Yakutsk
