‘In November 2015, during a round table, together with the parents’ committee of "Айыы Kыhата" National School a decision was made to build a separate building for the school in the 203rd microdistrict. And today, with particular joy and pride, we’re opening this beautiful large new school with a unique design, built under the public-private partnership project of the city, the Government of the Sakha Republic and VIS Group! This is an excellent pre-New Year present that everybody has been waiting for!’ the Head of the Republic shared.
The school’s uniqueness is in the emphasis on the language, national culture and traditions of the Sakha people in the curriculum. Up until now, the school didn’t have its own building, all the studies took place in the Children’s Creativity Centre. After the housewarming, the teaching staff and 550 students will acquire fundamentally new possibilities for studying general subjects, as well as the subjects devoted to folklore and folk customs, music, dance, applied arts and crafts classes.
National specifics are emphasised both in the building's architecture, and in the interior design. Aysen Nikolayev, accompanied by the school’s headmistress Lidia Shamayeva and Denis Nekrasov, went on a tour of the classrooms and auditoria. Afterwards, the national rite Algys was held in the presence of the guests.
The three floors of the school are equipped with multimedia auditoria, lecture halls, language laboratories, laboratory rooms. Artistic education will be organised in in the school’s own folklore studio theatre with a costume department and dressing rooms. Rooms for singing lessons and playing folk instruments are also available.
CEO of OOO Gazenergomontazh Denis Nekrasov turned over the symbolic key to the school’s headmistress and wished the students and the teaching staff creative work in the new temple of education, ‘For VIS group, the public-private partnership project in the Republic is especially significant. A year and a half ago we started the construction of 12 facilities simultaneously. Understanding how much the Republic needs them, the builders did their best to do their job on time and with high quality. The result is today’s event, as well as the comissioning of the Ivushka kindergarten, which already opened on the previous day, as well as the upcoming housewarmings for the new residents. This wouldn’t be possible without the help of the Head and the leaders of the Republic and the City Administration. Thanks for the joint work!’
The school is designed for eight 1-4 classes, ten 5-9 classes and four 10-11 classes. The primary and the secondary school will have separate dance studios and gyms, equipped with changing rooms and showers. Also, the conditions for a well-rounded education were created on the school premises: playgrounds and sports grounds, a space for public events, a large developed area. VIS Group will provide the operation and maintenance of the building for seven years, during that period the region will gradually pay for the already working school. Before the end of the year, two more social facilities, built under the public-private partnership agreement, are slated to be inaugurated. In total, 8 facilities will be put into operation this year, the remaining four will open their doors in 2019.

Today the capital of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) gained yet another modern educational institution. The Head of the Republic Aysen Nikolayev inaugurated the "Айыы Kыhата" National School. The Chairman of the State Assembly of the Sakha Republic Pyotr Gogolev, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic Vladimir Yegorov, the Head of the Urban District of Yakutsk Sardana Avksentyeva and CEO of OOO Gazenergomontazh (part of VIS Group) Denis Nekrasov took part in the ceremony.
