The implementation of one of the largest public-private partnership (PPP) projects in the Russian healthcare sector continues in Novosibirsk. VIS Group is building seven new medical centers that will serve more than 400,000 city residents.
The importance of this project is emphasized by constant public monitoring. On January 24, Elena Spasskikh, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Novosibirsk Region from the United Russia party, visited the construction site of clinic No. 13. This is not the first time she has come to the site, which is located in her constituency.
Sergei Shokhin, VIS Group’s project director, spoke about the progress of work: “The readiness of the clinic is 51%. Work on the building's structure and façade insulation has been fully completed, and heating has been installed. At the moment, utilities are being installed and finishing work is underway.”
Commissioning of the new clinic is scheduled for 2024.
“The deadline for the completion of the clinic has been delayed for objective reasons, but these are working issues. The main thing is that all the nuances are resolved, and the private partner continues to work. We are all invested in the facility being finished,” noted deputy Elena Spasskikh.
To date, 80 people are engaged in the construction of the clinic. In the near future, construction specialists from medical institutions that are already being commissioned, namely PPP clinics No. 2 and No. 7, will be employed here. Both facilities are fully equipped with all the required medical equipment and are awaiting permission for commissioning from state construction supervision.
Polyclinic No. 13 with a total area of over 12,000 m2 will serve 60,000 residents of the Kirov region and provide jobs for almost 600 specialists. The project involves not only construction, but also complete outfitting with expert-class equipment, including heavy equipment. This will allow residents of the nearby neighborhoods to undergo a full range of medical examinations within walking distance.
