A field meeting of an interdepartmental working group was held in Novosibirsk regarding the construction project of the fourth bridge over the Ob River. As part of the event, representatives of the Federal Road Agency (Rosavtodor) visited the bridge construction site for the first time. The largest concession project in the Novosibirsk Region is being implemented by the Siberian Concession Company (part of VIS Group).
The meeting was attended by the head of the regional development department of Rosavtodor Dmitry Laptev, the first deputy chairman of the Government of the Novosibirsk Region Vladimir Znatkov, the Minister of Transport of the Novosibirsk Region Anatoly Kostylevsky, the head of the State Public Institution "Bridge" Yuri Alekseevsky. VIS Group was represented by the CEO of OOO National Transport Concessions (the managing organization of the Siberian Concession Company) Pavel Ovchinnikov and the First Deputy CEO of VIS Production Company Evgeny Baskakov.
VIS Group representatives spoke about the project’s progress. All of the current year has been set aside for the preparatory phase. The installation of soundproof glazing in houses adjacent to the construction sites is nearing completion. Reconstruction of utilities, specifically, a water conduit near Shirokaya and Vatutina streets, is underway. Part of the double-track tram line in the alignment of Zyryanovskaya Street is also subject to reconstruction. The preparatory period entails large-scale works, which aim, among other things, to minimize the inconveniences of the construction process in the life of Novosibirsk residents.
Following the meeting, the federal center’s plans to support the project were confirmed. The participants also visited the construction site of the future bridge in the Gorodskoye Nachalo park, where they familiarized themselves with the presentation of the main technical parameters of this complex structure.
The construction of the fourth bridge is a large infrastructural project, the implementation of which will contribute not only to the advancement of the construction industry in the region, but also to the development of adjacent territories and the improvement of the investment and business climate of the Novosibirsk Region.
