Major transport concessions were presented by VIS Group at the Transport of Russia exhibition and forum in Moscow

The XVII “Transport of Russia” International Forum and Exhibition has begun in Moscow. It is traditionally organized by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. Russian regions, state corporations and major infrastructure companies take part in this annual event. At the exhibition in Gostiny Dvor, over 100 companies presented the largest transport projects in Russia and the latest achievements in the field of transport security and technology.

VIS Group, a traditional participant in the largest business event in the transport industry, presented its projects in an interactive format. Today the holding acts as an investor and concessionaire in four large projects to create bridges in Novosibirsk and Yakutsk, and highways in Khabarovsk and the Moscow region. Visitors to the exhibition have the opportunity to get acquainted with each of them separately. The stand features a VR station, 3D installations, a touch panel and interactive models that recreate projects in miniature.

VIS Group is represented at the forum by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Sergey Romashov, First Deputy CEO Sergey Yudin and CEO of the Investment Division Natalia Reznichenko. On the first day, a series of meetings and negotiations took place with the heads of the regions where the holding operates, partners, and representatives of federal industry departments.

“About 80% of VIS Group’s investment portfolio is comprised by transport sector projects. Over a year ago, we opened traffic on the first highway in the Russian Far East, the Khabarovsk Bypass. Next year, there are plans to launch two more large transport projects - the Mytishchi Expressway in the Moscow region and a bridge crossing over the Ob River in Novosibirsk,” said Sergei Yudin during a live broadcast of the Moscow 24 TV channel from Gostiny Dvor.

More than 3,500 delegates are participating in the Transport of Russia forum and exhibition; the organizers expect over 10,000 visitors. This is a key business event in the transport sector of Russia, where issues of the development of transport infrastructure, freight and passenger transportation, as well as digitalization of the industry are traditionally discussed.
