Four drilling rigs were relocated to the future construction site to start prospecting work “from the ice.” All the survey and design stage work is funded by the concessionaire.

The document was signed by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Maya Danilova and member of VIS Group’s Board of Directors Sergey Romashov. The ceremony was attended by the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Aisen Nikolaev, CEO of the Rostec State Corporation Sergey Chemezov and Chairman of the Board of Directors of VIS Group Igor Snegurov.

At the end of the year 2019, permission was obtained to commission the Center for Culture and Contemporary Art. The mayor of Yakutsk Sardan Avksentyeva paid a visit to the facility.

The general project contractor is VIS Production Company, the parent company of the VIS Group construction subholding. The issued permit will allow to start the principal work in April 2020.

The modern educational institution is one of the three last facilities commissioned at the end of 2019 as part of the VIS Group public-private partnership project to build 12 social infrastructure facilities.

The implementation of the public-private partnership project is carried out by OOO VIS Infrastructure (part of VIS Group).

In total, VIS Group has erected more than 20 social facilities, including kindergartens, schools, sports and medical complexes over the course of its operations in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. Each facility is delivered on a turn-key basis, fully outfitted with all necessary equipment for the immediate start of work right after commissioning.

VIS Group has completed the investment stage of the project. 3,000 new places for children has been created in educational institutions of the Republic.
