Municipal clinics being constructed in Novosibirsk in the PPP format will eliminate the capacity deficit in fast-growing microdistricts

A public-private partnership project to create a network of seven modern municipal outpatient clinics in Novosibirsk has entered the investment phase. Site preparation work has been completed at all seven sites allocated for construction. Permits were obtained for the construction of four clinics: No. 2 (Tatiana Snezhina St.), No. 7 (Proletarskaya St.), No. 22 (Viktora Usa St.) and No. 27 (Yerevanskaya St.). By the end of October, positive conclusions are expected from the state examination on the projects of the remaining three primary health care institutions.

The construction of all seven facilities under the PPP agreement will be carried out simultaneously. Today, construction and installation work has been deployed at the sites of clinics No. 2, 7 and 27 in the Oktyabrsky and Kirovsky districts of Novosibirsk. Foundation pit excavation has been completed, and foundations are already being constructed. Four tower and truck cranes, as well as excavators, concrete pumps and concrete mixer trucks are being used. In total, more than 10 units of special equipment and over 40 people are engaged in construction at this time.

Today, there is a shortage of capacities for the provision of outpatient care to the residents of the actively developing microdistricts of Novosibirsk. According to experts, the existing clinics are operating at twice their intended capacity, and in a number of micro-districts the deficit of clinic capacity is as high as 240%. Thanks to the PPP project, where the VIS Group acts as the investor, 7 modern medical institutions will appear in the capital of Siberia with a total capacity of 6467 visits per shift. The project involves not only the design and construction of buildings, but also their outfitting with new-generation equipment, including CT and MRI complexes, mammological systems, ultrasound and X-ray equipment. The new network of medical institutions will allow to use modern medical technologies and create a regional clinical data center in the future.
