SPIEF-2019: Current and future investment projects of the VIS Group are discussed at the forum

In the framework of VIS Group’s SPIEF-2019 business program, the head of the holding Igor Snegurov met with the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Andrei Travnikov. Their dialogue concerned the current status of the ongoing projects. VIS Group is the largest concessionaire in the Siberian region that implements key infrastructure projects: construction of a bridge across the Ob River, a network of municipal outpatient clinics and waste sorting complexes. The total investment in the Novosibirsk region in the coming years will exceed 50 billion rubles.

At the invitation of the Eurasian Development Bank, Igor Snegurov took part in the EDB “Investment Cooperation” business lunch. Discussions at the event focused on the coordination of national projects in the transport and energy spheres to further Eurasian integration, as well as the possibility of participation of EAEU member countries in investment projects.

Sergey Romashov, a member of the Board of Directors of VIS Group, met with the Vice-Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Vasily Shvets. Regional leadership is interested in the experience that VIS Group has in the implementation of projects related to solid municipal waste management and the creation of large infrastructure facilities. In particular, they discussed the possibility of establishing a medical cluster in the region, the construction of a new embankment in Krasnodar and the development of a city road network.

In the afternoon, a meeting was held with Diana Alba, Vice President of the French public utility company Suez. Over the past few years, VIS Group has acquired significant competences in the field of MSW management and plans to attract the most advanced waste sorting and recycling technologies to the Russian market. This topic, along with the opportunities for cooperation in the framework of the holding’s specific projects, became a key one at the meeting.
