We expect that it will provide us with new ideas, and students will have the chance to express themselves in real projects and plunge into the specifics of infrastructure construction.”
Our collaboration involves three stages. At each stage, architecture students will create, improve and present draft presentations of their projects to VIS Group’s experts. Creative assignments are based on real technical documentation of the facilities proposed for design. The holding’s specialists will not only evaluate ideas, but also provide recommendations for further development of the materials submitted by students.
In the framework of the cooperation, VIS Group provided a grant that will offer students the resources necessary to work on their projects. The grant will also contribute to the development of the practical work of the academy and the implementation of educational programs.
“Students get the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in practice, working on real projects and expanding their portfolio even at the training stage,” said Pavel Zhbanov, vice-president of the National Academy of Urbanism, vice-rector of the Moscow Architectural Institute. “I am confident that VIS Group’s initiative will be mutually beneficial and will contribute to the creation of a new generation of talented architects.”
Based on the results of a stage-by-stage selection, VIS Group experts will select the best projects that will be used as the basis for the holding’s promising projects. The results will be presented by the end of March 2024.
Students of the Moscow Architectural Institute take part in the development of architectural concepts for VIS Group projects
VIS Group has entered into an agreement with the National Academy of Urbanism, under which students of the Moscow Architectural Institute (MARCHI) will develop architectural concepts for several of the holding’s promising projects in different Russian regions. Cooperation is grant-based.
