The bridge under construction across the Ob became the largest installation at the Siberian Transport Forum exhibition

VIS Group presented its concession project for the construction of a bridge across the Ob River at the 10th Siberian Transport Forum that opened today. The holding’s stand is a model of a bridge, with a 1:16 model of a cable pylon in the center.

The holding's exposition contains two parts: a presentation of the transport infrastructure being created on the left and right banks of the Ob in the Siberian metropolis. Multi-level interchanges, videos chronicling the construction and a 3D presentation reveal the details of the project.

One of the exhibition’s brightest points of attraction for visitors was VIS Group's VR station. It allowed everyone who is interested to virtually find themselves at a height of 114 meters – on the upper platform of one of the bridge pylon pillars on the right bank of the Ob River. This is the tallest architectural structure in the capital of Siberia. The WOW effect was further intensified by 5D technologies, including the blowing wind and the noises of the metropolis. The great interest of the forum guests, in turn, attracted media attention: VIS Group’s virtual reality became one of the episodes of the live broadcast on one of the Novosibirsk TV channels. The journalists of the Russia 1 TV channel were interested not only in the details of the current stage of large-scale construction, but also in the effect anticipated from the new infrastructure.

“Novosibirsk residents and guests of the city will receive an alternate convenient and fast route from one bank to the other, as well as an opportunity to get to Tolmachevo Airport faster. The new bridge will unload the existing road network and provide an impetus to the development of urban areas. Thanks to transport accessibility, new commercial and social facilities, residential areas may appear along the new highway. The Truda and Energetikov Squares will be completely transformed, with traffic passing through without traffic lights. And we hope that the H-shaped pylon will become a symbol of modern Novosibirsk,” Sergey Yudin, First Deputy CEO of VIS Group, told Vesti.

The anniversary Siberian Transport Forum has expanded beyond the borders of the federal district: it is attended by the representatives of the Russian Far East and Volga regions, central Russia and the CIS countries. The event is being held  at the Novosibirsk Expo Center.
