The governor of Novosibirsk region visits the construction site of the PPP polyclinic being built by VIS Group

On August 10, the Governor of Novosibirsk Region Andrey Travnikov visited several socially significant facilities in the Oktyabrsky district of Novosibirsk. The final point of the working trip of the head of the region was polyclinic #2 under construction on Tatiana Snezhina St. It  is one of seven facilities created within the framework of the largest public-private partnership project in the health care sphere in Siberia. VIS Group is the investor and private partner.

“The Oktyabrsky District is developing multi-directionally; we see that educational, healthcare, and sports facilities are being built here,” Andrey Travnikov said. “The district has good prospects for integrated development. This is the center and the face of Novosibirsk, and we must ensure its modern development.”

The subject of the on-site workshop was transport and pedestrian accessibility of the new polyclinic, which is located in the densely built-up area of the Plyushichinsky housing estate. Andrey Travnikov entrusted the department of transport and road improvement complex of Novosibirsk City Hall to ensure the connection of the facility to the local road network. A separate subject of discussion was the creation of a roundabout on the city side and the access road to polyclinic #7, which is being built by VIS Group in the same area.

The First Deputy CEO of VIS Group Sergey Yudin and Head of the medical division Sergey Parsadanian, told the head of the region about the completion of the construction of polyclinic #2. Today, the facility is in a high degree of readiness. The work on the facade is 98% completed, the interior decoration is 83% completed. Reception and installation of technological medical equipment, large-scale assembly and installation of furniture, specialized medical devices and instruments are imported.

Together with the governor, VIS Group representatives inspected the ready doctors’ offices in the adult and children's departments, as well as the medical equipment delivered to the facility. In accordance with the schedule, more than a third of medical equipment, including heavy equipment manufactured by General Electric, was delivered and installed. A mammography unit and a computer tomograph have been installed at the facility, and two X-ray digital complexes and a fluorograph are expected to arrive in the near future. Delivery of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is anticipated at the end of October. The MRT delivery schedule has been adjusted due to the need to obtain an additional license for delivery. This is a mandatory requirement due to the sanctions imposed by unfriendly countries.

Today, 125 builders and specialists are employed at the facility. Improvement of the adjacent territory continues and is 45% completed. The creation of 90 parking spaces, the construction of sidewalks and lawns is planned on the polyclinic premises. The adult and children's wards have separate entrances, which will allow to separate the flow of patients. At the request of the chief physician of the polyclinic, a separate entrance was also created for the 24-hour trauma center.

A modern four-story building with an area of over 12,000 m2 will be able to serve 64,000 inhabitants of the Oktyabrsky District. The capacity of the polyclinic is almost 1,000 visits per shift. Workplaces are provided for 650 personnel.

In total, about 500 people and over 35 units of special equipment are employed by VIS Group at the seven facilities being built under the PPP project. Commissioning of the first three polyclinics #2, 7 and 27 is planned this year, the construction readiness of these facilities reaches 96%. The remaining four polyclinics will be completed in accordance with the schedule in 2024.
