VIS Group continues to implement a public-private partnership project to create an innovative SMART clinic in Yakutia. During the construction of the six-story building, soil freezing technology is used, which is a method for building in permafrost conditions. For this purpose, 535 seasonal cooling devices were installed, which are capable of freezing the soil to a depth of 12 meters. All of them have been successfully put into operation, allowing the foundation to freeze and eliminating the possibility of building deformations in the event of soil thaw.
A 645-pile field was prepared for the construction of an 8,500 sq m building, and sand filling of the base was carried out using over 3,000 cu m. The builders have completed the installation of the monolithic grillage, 70% of the work on the installation of vertical and horizontal monolithic structures of the first floor has also been finished. In total, about 1,500 cu m of concrete were laid. Work on the site is carried out using two tower cranes.
Under the terms of the PPP agreement with the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), VIS Group will outfit the new medical complex with all the necessary high-tech equipment. Among other things, there are X-ray, endoscopic, mammography and fluorography devices, as well as magnetic resonance imaging scanners and expert-class digital ultrasound diagnostic systems.
The SMART clinic is being constructed within the framework of the National Healthcare Project. It will be one of the largest medical centers in the city of Yakutsk, designed for 600 visits per shift and comprising an adult and children's departments, as well as an antenatal clinic, a clinical diagnostic laboratory, radiation diagnostics and rehabilitation treatment departments, an emergency room and a day hospital.
Modern diagnostic equipment, which doctors will have at their disposal, will allow them to conduct comprehensive medical examinations the for residents of the nearby neighborhoods within walking distance. The clinic will provide medical services under the compulsory health insurance program. VIS Group will be responsible for the technical operation of the medical facility until the end of 2030, throughout the validity period of the public-private partnership agreement.
