Today, the Group is implementing a number of major social infrastructure projects in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District (YNAD). They are the Doverie center for minors, a new residential complex on the banks of the Shaitanka River in Salekhard, and the Sargin Embankment in Tarko-Sale. The projects are implemented within the framework of state contracts and aim to solve the problems of targeted regional development programs. A separate project is the construction of a new administrative building for the YNAD authorities in Salekhard. VIS Production Company is the general contractor for all facilities.
“The tasks are large-scale, the production needs of all facilities are different,” said Anastasia Tselovalnikova, CEO of the head company of VIS Group’s construction division. “We’ve introduced an integrated construction management system at all sites. Among other things, it allows us to switch to operational weekly and daily planning and effectively control the quality and schedule of work.”
The construction of the Doverie social rehabilitation center is being conducted in accordance with the schedule. Internal finishing is carried out, tiles are being laid in the halls and wet rooms, doors are mounted, and suspended ceiling systems are installed. More than 120 specialists are employed at the facility, whose overall construction readiness is estimated at over 75%. The center will allow to provide comprehensive assistance to minors and their families: from psychological support to specialized medical programs. The building will be equipped with massage and exercise therapy rooms, a swimming pool and gyms.
VIS Group managers also inspected the progress of work in the new building for the regional authorities. The total area of two eight-story buildings exceeds 40,000 m2, ranking among the largest buildings in Salekhard. Approximately 425 kilometers of cable alone will need to be laid. Major work is being carried out on the installation of engineering networks and interior decoration, and several automatic plastering stations are operating in two blocks connected by a covered walkway.
“Together with the client and the architectural bureau, we completely updated the design concept of the building's interior space. Today, its ergonomics follows the latest trends,” shared Evgeny Skryabin, a member of the Group’s Board of Directors. “There are comfortable conditions for the reception of visitors with an integrated digital system, open-space multifunctional zones, and conference rooms with lecture halls. I myself lived and worked in Yamal for a long time, and I am pleased that, thanks to our projects, the district is being augmented with modern and beautiful facilities.”
VIS Group has been operating in the YNAD for 12 years. Among the commissioned facilities are the river station in Salekhard, the railway station, the Wedding Palace and the Zvezdny Sports Palace in Novy Urengoy, the embankment in Tarko-Sale, the District AIDS Center in Noyabrsk, sports and residential complexes and much more. In Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, the Group implemented the first public-private partnership project in Russia with a completed life cycle. Thanks to this, more than 1,500 new seats in kindergartens and schools have appeared in the region.
“The created infrastructure allows us to offer a qualitatively new level of comfort to the residents of Yamal,” said Igor Snegurov, Chairman of the Board of Directors. “If it’s a kindergarten – it should have a swimming pool, elevators and salt caves. If it’s a school – it should have interactive multimedia and its own laboratory. It is especially important for children to grow up, study and create in the best conditions, cultivating in themselves a sincere love for their home region.
